in 2022, Joe Louviere met Zackery Gardner and his family. “I couldn’t help but being inspired by his joy of life and his love of hunting,” said Joe. After supper, Zackery’s father Bret said that Zackery would love to be able to hunt off the ground, which was extremely difficult due to his disability. Looking at Zackery and his family we knew something needed to be done to allow him to make memories the way we had with our families. With the help of a good friend, Joe got the materials to build the blind. Relying on over 35 years of aluminum fabrication experience in the shipbuilding industry, Joe went to work on Zack’s blind. On August 4th we surprised Zack with a stand that could lift him and family in the air. The first thing he said was you need to build more because there’s a lot more people like me. A few months later Zack harvested a beautiful 9 point on his first hunt in the blind. Plans were drawn, a patent pending acquired, and Airborne Deer Blinds LLC. was born. In March of this year we went to work on the first production model.

Airborne Deer Blinds are all welded marine grade aluminum blinds with all stainless-steel hardware and are literally built to last a lifetime. Our blinds fold to make it easier to transport and set up takes around 15 minutes and can be done by one person. Airborne Deer Blinds represents acts of kindness, sharing and giving back.
